Kokoda Project is a start-up mining project in the Tonolei area, Bougainville. Tonoleli area is about 183.7 sq. km. Taki and Siurai in Tonolei are prospective for porphyry Cu– Au & epithermal vein-style gold deposits. Exploration05 was held by SRMI, a company based in the Philippines.
Highlights: Taki Prospect: 9 out of 15 outcrop samples returned assays >10g/t Au. The average gold grade is 13.8 g/t Au including 21.62 g/t Au from a NE-SW trending structure (0.5m true thickness) with elevated zinc (>20,000ppm), lead (>10,000ppm) & Cu (1,769ppm). Siurai Prospect: 11 out of 23 outcrop and rock chip samples returned assays >18g/t Au. The average gold grade is 20.7g/t Au, including 51 g/t Au from Sample No. RS1015 |

The authority over all mine development lies with the Bougainville Government.

The Bougainville Government signed an MOA with BOU&KO LTD. Therefore, all investors and companies must contract with BOU&KO LTD. to be recognized by the Bougainville Government and the Landowners Association.
