Kokoda Project Overview
The Kokoda Project is an early-stage mining venture located in the Tonolei area of Bougainville, covering approximately 183.7 square kilometers. The region is considered highly prospective for porphyry copper-gold (Cu–Au) and epithermal vein-style gold deposits, particularly in the Taki and Siurai prospects.
Exploration Highlights
  • Taki Prospect
Out of 15 outcrop samples, 9 samples returned gold assays exceeding 10 g/t Au.
The average gold grade was 13.8 g/t Au, including a peak value of 21.62 g/t Au from a northeast-southwest trending structure (0.5m true thickness).
This structure also showed elevated levels of zinc (>20,000 ppm), lead (>10,000 ppm), and copper (1,769 ppm).
  • Siurai Prospect
Among 23 outcrop and rock chip samples, 11 samples reported gold assays above 18 g/t Au.
The average gold grade was 20.7 g/t Au, with a standout sample (RS1015) returning 51 g/t Au.
